Georgia's First Party was a HOOT!

This post is long over due, but life has been crazy lately...

Georgia's birthday party was perfect.  Everyone had a such a good time, and everything worked out exactly as planned.  We had a great turn out and the weather was beautiful.

I had decided awhile ago that I wanted to do an owl-themed birthday party.  I started searching months in advanced for the perfect party items.  I started with the invitation and then everything evolved from there.  We had her birthday on the 19th of March which was the last Saturday of Spring Break.  Which means I spent my entire Spring Break preparing for the party!!!  Here are lots of pictures reliving the entire day.  Thanks to my dad and Leslie for taking such great pictures of the party.  I will cherish these memories forever!!!

Georgia's First Year Pics

We had Kelly take some family pics as Georgia turned one year old.  She did an amazing job as always, I was so happy with how everything turned out.  I had a crazy vision with balloons and was so pleased with the outcome.  Georgia was a trooper through the whole thing!!!  We took the pictures at the Botanical Gardens in the Rose Gardens.  The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful.  Here are some of my favorites...

Valentine's Day 2011

This was Georgia's 1st Valentine's Day!  She had her first Valentine's party at her school where she exchanged valentine cards with her friends and helped make some sweet treats for her teachers :)

Homemade Cupcakes.....they were delicious!!!!

Chris ended up having to go out of town the morning of Valentine's Day, so that evening was a girl's night.  Georgia and I ran a couple of errands and then went over to my mom's house for a couple of minutes.  After that, we went home and opened up a couple of gifts.  Georgia did such a good job opening her gifts, it is going to be so much fun watching her open her gifts on her birthday!

Georgia LOVES bubbles, especially Backyardigans bubbles!

"Look Mom, I got new sunglasses!"

You know you are getting older when gifts become practical and you are actually super excited about it.  Chris and I have been talking about getting a Dyson for a long time.  We decided to do a joint gift for Valentine's Day and buy it for ourselves.  I am in love!!!  I don't think I have ever been so excited about cleaning!!!!
I put it together on Valentine's Day and couldn't resist using it right away :)
